If you're unsure about your model or weight...try our DEMO program.

Our favorite Squash wrap grip is the Squash Galaxy Wrap Grip. We've been in the business a long time and always get requests on what our favorite wrap grip is for squash so we went out and made our own! The Squash Galaxy Wrap grip has a smooth and extremely tacky feel and is the appropriate length and size for any squash racquet on the market. It's only $8 to have it installed at the time of purchase.

The Python Atlas Deluxe 18g (Black) string upgrade (+$25) is recommended at the time of purchase because the factory string generally has lesser playability and durability qualities and often strung too tight. After years of play-testing and selling strings in squash and racquetball we feel we can finally recommend a string to our customer base that not only offers great durability, but backs that up with a great feel and play. The Python Atlas Deluxe is a soft, multifilament string that will gradually fray through the life cycle of the string.(This is completely normal, so don’t worry about it. It will fray down to the very last fibers) For players looking for added “feel”, try the Atlas Deluxe in an 18g which is thinner and more responsive and for those who like a little "stiffer" string, try Tecnifibre 305 Green 17g which is still a multifilament or those who like a textured string that does not fray, try the Ashaway PowerNick 18g String.

If you choose a vibration dampener go with the Python Vibration Dampner (Our favorite), Head Smart Sorb, Head Megasorb, or the BBB (Big Bad Band).

A question we get everyday is "What is Grommet Tape?" It's a piece of tape that goes over the head (bumper) of your racquet. Sometimes you need a restring because of a broken bumper. For an extra buck to add this, it could save you $25-40!!

We recommend an overgrip for players that tend a sweat a lot, want to build up a grip, or wear through wrap grips very often. An overgrip is thinner and wears quicker than re-grips, but can be changed much quicker and easier than a re-grip. We recommend the SquashGalaxy Black Overgrip or SquashGalaxy White Overgrip, but for those looking for the best sweat absorption, durability, and feel... the Overgrip/Re-grip gives the best combination. Note** when an overgrip is installed, you will not be able to see the re-grip if chose to have it installed.

We get follow up calls/emails everyday thanking us for the upgrades as they really help bring out the performance of the racquet.

If you want the best cover on the market buy the SquashGalaxy Full Racquet Cover. It has a full outside pocket, a handle strap and a large shoulder strap as well as a ventilated pocket to let your grip breathe and best of all its $2 less than the others because we want to help you by supporting our company! The charge will only be $8.00 when added to the cart for this choice instead of $10.00 like the other covers.

    Technology

Auxetic Technology - New for 2023

HEAD did trials with players, the Auxetic construction increases players' confidence in their shots as you get an enhanced feel for the ball, including when it is off-center. "If it's slightly off-center it stretches some strings more than others, and you're getting a reaction where you need it, so you're getting more feeling and control. That's feeding back to the player who can feel the shot better, and that gives them more confidence in the execution of their shot.

It could be that, because of Auxetic materials, HEAD will end up making racquetball racquets completely differently in the future, including with new shapes. It could make it easier to have smart racquets with sensors in them, and there could be sustainability benefits. In years to come, we might find ourselves looking back and saying, 'That was the first tennis racquet with Auxetic composites, that was the racquet that changed the sport'. That would be massive.

    AFP - Adaptive Fan Pattern

Adaptive Fan Fattern (AFP) technology allows you to customize your string pattern to maximize your game. With Head's new racquet and bumper technology, allows players to choose between the straight string pattern for a maximum power game or the special fan-shaped pattern to optimize the ability to control the ball.

Head's Straight String Pattern is designed for players looking for maximum power with optimal touch and feel.

Head's new Fan Pattern is designed for players looking for a stiffer string bed. This dense fan pattern increases the stiffness of the string bed increasing control while maintaining power with longer main strings.

    String Bed Extension

The groove in the upper part of the frame enlarges the space where the strings are able to move during ball contact. This enables an extended use of the trampoline effect and creates more acceleration. It gives you the extra power and ball speed you need to excel in your game.

    Graphene Inside

Strategically positioned in most of HEAD's racquets, Graphene strengthens the frame, provides greater stability and optimises energy transfer from racquet to ball. When you buy your next racquet, be sure it has GRAPHENE INSIDE.
