Our favorite Squash wrap grip is the Squash Galaxy Wrap Grip. We've been in the business a long time and always get requests on what our favorite wrap grip is for squash so we went out and made our own! The Squash Galaxy Wrap grip has a smooth and extremely tacky feel and is the appropriate length and size for any squash racquet on the market. It's only $8 to have it installed at the time of purchase.
The Python Atlas Deluxe 18g (Black) string upgrade (+$25) is recommended at the time of purchase because the factory string generally has lesser playability and durability qualities and often strung too tight. After years of play-testing and selling strings in squash and racquetball we feel we can finally recommend a string to our customer base that not only offers great durability, but backs that up with a great feel and play. The Python Atlas Deluxe is a soft, multifilament string that will gradually fray through the life cycle of the string.(This is completely normal, so don’t worry about it. It will fray down to the very last fibers) For players looking for added “feel”, try the Atlas Deluxe in an 18g which is thinner and more responsive and for those who like a little "stiffer" string, try Tecnifibre 305 Green 17g which is still a multifilament or those who like a textured string that does not fray, try the Ashaway PowerNick 18g String.
If you choose a vibration dampener go with the Python Vibration Dampner (Our favorite), Head Smart Sorb, Head Megasorb, or the BBB (Big Bad Band).
A question we get everyday is "What is Grommet Tape?" It's a piece of tape that goes over the head (bumper) of your racquet. Sometimes you need a restring because of a broken bumper. For an extra buck to add this, it could save you $25-40!!
We recommend an overgrip for players that tend a sweat a lot, want to build up a grip, or wear through wrap grips very often. An overgrip is thinner and wears quicker than re-grips, but can be changed much quicker and easier than a re-grip. We recommend the SquashGalaxy Black Overgrip or SquashGalaxy White Overgrip, but for those looking for the best sweat absorption, durability, and feel... the Overgrip/Re-grip gives the best combination. Note** when an overgrip is installed, you will not be able to see the re-grip if chose to have it installed.
We get follow up calls/emails everyday thanking us for the upgrades as they really help bring out the performance of the racquet.
If you want the best cover on the market buy the SquashGalaxy Full Racquet Cover. It has a full outside pocket, a handle strap and a large shoulder strap as well as a ventilated pocket to let your grip breathe and best of all its $2 less than the others because we want to help you by supporting our company! The charge will only be $8.00 when added to the cart for this choice instead of $10.00 like the other covers.

Bang for the Buck $$$
Faster-paced and more aggressive, squash has changed. New techniques have evolved: expanded use of spin, faster, more aggressive swing styles, and more versatility in footwork and hitting stances. These "modern squash" techniques can produce huge gains in performance, but also make huge demands on equipment. Today's aggressive players want products that are up to the challenge, and HEAD's innovative new MicroGel technology delivers.
Rock-solid feel and touch:
With the lowest density of any material, HEAD MicroGel is a revolutionary new silicone-based material. HEAD has combined MicroGel with stiff and strong carbon composite fibers to create a racquet with incredible responsive qualities. On ball impact, MicroGel uniformly distributes the impact load around the frame to provide the most rock-solid feel and superior touch ever achieved in the game.
What happens during ball impact?
MicroGel deforms and compresses, absorbing and dispersing the impact to the entire frame, then returns quickly to its original shape.
Flexpoint - Power in Control
Squash racquets have traditionally bent in the same way on ball impact. Now with HEAD's new Flexpoint technology, everything has changed.
Powered by Liquidmetal, Flexpoint technology has broken the rules of conventional racquet design with two precisely engineered control holes built into the racquet frame. HEAD's new Flexpoint squash Racquets are the first to bend in a whole new way.
Hole + Dimple = Flexpoint
These two newly designed holes, positioned at 3 and 9 o'clock on the racquet head, work together to bring power in control. The dimple is engineered to create flexibility by reducing beam height by a maximum of 25 %. The hole increases sectional flexibility up to 50 %.
Made of a specially designed matrix of carbon fibers and a new crystalline metal alloy. This alloy's grain-size is 1000 times smaller than that of a typical metal*.
The decreased grain size means increased performance, or, as the Hall-Petch Effect states: smaller grains = stronger material. The result is a lighter, stronger and more powerful racquet than ever before.
The new HEAD Stabilizer eliminates racquet vibration and ensures the ultimate in comfort on every shot.
By lowering the bridge section in a unique new throat design, HEAD's LMS (Longer Main String) design creates a larger hitting surface without making the racquet any bigger. The player benefits from the larger sweet spot and better maneuverability.
