In a year filled with negatives, it’s time to put a check mark in the positive column for 2020 with the launch of the new Dunlop SONIC CORE racquet series. With an extensive range this season boasting their new SONIC CORE™ Made with Infinergy® BY BASF technology, Dunlop has launched two Hybrid Racquets (Evolution 120 and 130) and three Conventional Racquets (Pro 130, Elite 135, and Ultimate 132)
Quite possibly the most technologically advanced series on the market, the Sonic Core racquets have been developed to offer excellent head stability and enhanced comfort, allowing players to dictate the pace of rallies with pin point accuracy and consistency. In addition to superior rebound properties the incorporation of Infinergy® has reduced vibration up to 37% vs. standard carbon fiber racquets.
Hybrid Head Shapes:
Sonic Core Evolution 120: If you are a young, attacking player with a fast swing speed; or like a lot of maneuverability with a balance of power and control. Pick this frame up for your next upgrade.
Sonic Core Evolution 130: Even balanced frame to benefit deep court rails and cross courts, while also allowing the occasional volley; the Sonic Core Evolution 130 is sure to be your next “go to” in your bag.
Conventional Head Shapes:
Sonic Core Pro 130: Designed for the truly control focused player, the Pro 130 offers a dense 14x18 string pattern and head light balance to produce pin point accuracy.
Sonic Core Ultimate 132: With a dense string pattern and elongated head shape, the Ultimate is the most control-oriented frame in the Dunlop arsenal.
Sonic Core Elite 135: The 14x18 string pattern and elongated head shape make this a great control frame(not as much as Ultimate) but gives just a little but more power.
Starting in 2013 Dunlop DOES NOT supply a cover with their racquets.

Our favorite Squash wrap grip is the Squash Galaxy Wrap Grip. We've been in the business a long time and always get requests on what our favorite wrap grip is for squash so we went out and made our own! The Squash Galaxy Wrap grip has a smooth and extremely tacky feel and is the appropriate length and size for any squash racquet on the market. It's only $8 to have it installed at the time of purchase.
The Python Atlas Deluxe 18g (Black) string upgrade (+$25) is recommended at the time of purchase because the factory string generally has lesser playability and durability qualities and often strung too tight. After years of play-testing and selling strings in squash and racquetball we feel we can finally recommend a string to our customer base that not only offers great durability, but backs that up with a great feel and play. The Python Atlas Deluxe is a soft, multifilament string that will gradually fray through the life cycle of the string.(This is completely normal, so don’t worry about it. It will fray down to the very last fibers) For players looking for added “feel”, try the Atlas Deluxe in an 18g which is thinner and more responsive and for those who like a little "stiffer" string, try Tecnifibre 305 Green 17g which is still a multifilament or those who like a textured string that does not fray, try the Ashaway PowerNick 18g String.
If you choose a vibration dampener go with the Python Vibration Dampner (Our favorite), Head Smart Sorb, Head Megasorb, or the BBB (Big Bad Band).
A question we get everyday is "What is Grommet Tape?" It's a piece of tape that goes over the head (bumper) of your racquet. Sometimes you need a restring because of a broken bumper. For an extra buck to add this, it could save you $25-40!!
We recommend an overgrip for players that tend a sweat a lot, want to build up a grip, or wear through wrap grips very often. An overgrip is thinner and wears quicker than re-grips, but can be changed much quicker and easier than a re-grip. We recommend the SquashGalaxy Black Overgrip or SquashGalaxy White Overgrip, but for those looking for the best sweat absorption, durability, and feel... the Overgrip/Re-grip gives the best combination. Note** when an overgrip is installed, you will not be able to see the re-grip if chose to have it installed.
We get follow up calls/emails everyday thanking us for the upgrades as they really help bring out the performance of the racquet.
If you want the best cover on the market buy the SquashGalaxy Full Racquet Cover. It has a full outside pocket, a handle strap and a large shoulder strap as well as a ventilated pocket to let your grip breathe and best of all its $2 less than the others because we want to help you by supporting our company! The charge will only be $8.00 when added to the cart for this choice instead of $10.00 like the other covers.

Sonic Core - Made with Infinergy from BASF
Located in the 2 and 10 o'clock area of the racket
In addition to superior rebound properties the Infinergy material also has impressive dampening properties and reduces vibrations versus a standard carbon fibre Dunlop racket.
Sonic Core rackets have been developed to offer excellent racquet head stability and enhanced comfort, allowing players to dictate the pace of rallies with pin point accuracy and consistency.
Powered by: SRIXON
Hybrid Cross Section: Hybrid power properties of an oval cross section in the head with the stability and comfort of a box section in the shaft portion of the racquet helps provide more power than previous models without loss of control.
CX Grommets: Pocketed grommets and a more aerodynamic cross section in the racquet hoop make the new geometries more aerodynamic than previous models helping to increase racquet head speed.
Glide Polymer
Reduces Friction - Unique polymer contains micro beads of MOS2 mineral that reduces friction interaction between grommet and string by up to 27% allowing greater string movement for enhanced power. Increased Durability - Glide polymer also reinforces the polymer matrix increasing durability and grommet life by up to 40%.
