The Black Knight Radium PSX Squash Racquet is an evolution of the popular Galaxy PS Squash Racquet. It features the same frame shape and size but weighs 140g with a fairly head light balance. The Radium is a solid racquet that will play fairly quickly due its head light balance. Its large 500 cm2 head helps produce power and also gives the racquet a nice large sweet spot making it fairly easy to play with.
The Ion series has been developed in collaboration with multiple British Open Champion David Palmer, and the Ion Storm was used for his 2008 British Open victory.
The Ion racquets use Nano-Crystalline Technology (NCT) as an additive to the polymer structure of the graphite frame, for reinforcement at key stress points while allowing for finetuning of the weight and balance. The combination of NCT with the Ion frame geometry also effectively reduces frame distortion and torque for a larger sweetspot and greater control for hard hitters such as Palmer. The shaft is flared in 2 dimensions between the bridge and the handle to create a progressive flex, increasing power transfer.

Our favorite Squash wrap grip is the Squash Galaxy Wrap Grip. We've been in the business a long time and always get requests on what our favorite wrap grip is for squash so we went out and made our own! The Squash Galaxy Wrap grip has a smooth and extremely tacky feel and is the appropriate length and size for any squash racquet on the market. It's only $8 to have it installed at the time of purchase.
The Python Atlas Deluxe 17g (Black) string upgrade (+$25) is recommended at the time of purchase because the factory string generally has lesser playability and durability qualities and often strung too tight. After years of play-testing and selling strings in squash and racquetball we feel we can finally recommend a string to our customer base that not only offers great durability, but backs that up with a great feel and play. The Python Atlas Deluxe is a soft, multifilament string that will gradually fray through the life cycle of the string.(This is completely normal, so don’t worry about it. It will fray down to the very last fibers) For players looking for added “feel”, try the Atlas Deluxe in an 18g which is thinner and more responsive and for those who like a little "stiffer" string, try Tecnifibre 305 Green 17g which is still a multifilament or those who like a textured string that does not fray, try the Ashaway PowerNick 18g String.
If you choose a vibration dampener go with the Python Vibration Dampner (Our favorite), Head Smart Sorb, Head Megasorb, or the BBB (Big Bad Band).
A question we get everyday is "What is Grommet Tape?" It's a piece of tape that goes over the head (bumper) of your racquet. Sometimes you need a restring because of a broken bumper. For an extra buck to add this, it could save you $25-40!!
We recommend an overgrip for players that tend a sweat a lot, want to build up a grip, or wear through wrap grips very often. An overgrip is thinner and wears quicker than re-grips, but can be changed much quicker and easier than a re-grip. We recommend the SquashGalaxy Black Overgrip or SquashGalaxy White Overgrip, but for those looking for the best sweat absorption, durability, and feel... the Overgrip/Re-grip gives the best combination. Note** when an overgrip is installed, you will not be able to see the re-grip if chose to have it installed.
We get follow up calls/emails everyday thanking us for the upgrades as they really help bring out the performance of the racquet.
If you want the best cover on the market buy the SquashGalaxy Full Racquet Cover. It has a full outside pocket, a handle strap and a large shoulder strap as well as a ventilated pocket to let your grip breathe and best of all its $2 less than the others because we want to help you by supporting our company! The charge will only be $8.00 when added to the cart for this choice instead of $10.00 like the other covers.

High strength carbon weave and NCT have helped Black Knight slim the frame down to produce a new range of aerodynamic frames
Power Surge Technology
Power Surge bars that sandwich the throat and shaft to provide X-tra stiffness and X-tra vibration dampening qualities, and X-tra power.
Thermal Core Technology
During the carbon molding pressured heated air is forced through the racquet to sure the racket from the inside and out. The result is a stronger frame without irregularities providing higher durability and consistent recovery after shots.
Nano-Crystalline Technology (NCT)
An additive to the polymer structure of the graphite frame, for reinforcement at key stress points while allowing for finetuning of the weight and balance.
Ion Frame Geometry
The shaft is flared in 2 dimensions between the bridge and the handle to create a progressive flex, increasing power transfer.
Power of 6 Frame
The frame has been tuned at 6 key stress points to prevent damage while reducing weight. The result is stronger racquets with tailored characteristics.
