Description of the Racquet

APX.. the next evolution in the Dynergy family is the most powerful series offered to date by Tecnifibre. Advancing on their Arch Power technology, the APX should be a top choice for any offensive style squash player.  The light weight (135g) combined with the 360mm (14.17”) offers a very powerful and maneuverable frame while remaining very stable in any court position.

Includes Full Ventilated Cover

The Tecnifibre Dynergy 135 APX is medium-weight racquet designed for maximum power with increased feel and stability, thanks to the Arch Power X and Jumbo Shaft technologies. The Arch Power X allows the player to unleash the power of Tecnifibre’s industry-leading, premium multifilament strings while the Jumbo Shaft provides a 38% thicker cross-section for stability and control. The “arch” permits dynamic main-string response without sacrificing stability. This innovation allows the APX series to be one of the most powerful ranges in the market while blending in Tecnifibre’s patented stability and feel . The 135 APX encompasses Tecnifibre’s SuperLight bumper for maximum maneuverability and high-modulus graphite for added durability.. The Dynergy 135 APX is designed for the beginner to intermediate club player and comes equipped with Tecnifibre’s new Squash Tacky grip in black plus a full cover.

Our favorite Squash wrap grip is the Squash Galaxy Wrap Grip. We've been in the business a long time and always get requests on what our favorite wrap grip is for squash so we went out and made our own! The Squash Galaxy Wrap grip has a smooth and extremely tacky feel and is the appropriate length and size for any squash racquet on the market. It's only $8 to have it installed at the time of purchase.

The Python Atlas Deluxe 17g (Black) string upgrade (+$25) is recommended at the time of purchase because the factory string generally has lesser playability and durability qualities and often strung too tight. After years of play-testing and selling strings in squash and racquetball we feel we can finally recommend a string to our customer base that not only offers great durability, but backs that up with a great feel and play. The Python Atlas Deluxe is a soft, multifilament string that will gradually fray through the life cycle of the string.(This is completely normal, so don’t worry about it. It will fray down to the very last fibers) For players looking for added “feel”, try the Atlas Deluxe in an 18g which is thinner and more responsive and for those who like a little "stiffer" string, try Tecnifibre 305 Green 17g which is still a multifilament or those who like a textured string that does not fray, try the Ashaway PowerNick 18g String.

If you choose a vibration dampener go with the Python Vibration Dampner (Our favorite), Head Smart Sorb, Head Megasorb, or the BBB (Big Bad Band).

A question we get everyday is "What is Grommet Tape?" It's a piece of tape that goes over the head (bumper) of your racquet. Sometimes you need a restring because of a broken bumper. For an extra buck to add this, it could save you $25-40!!

We recommend an overgrip for players that tend a sweat a lot, want to build up a grip, or wear through wrap grips very often. An overgrip is thinner and wears quicker than re-grips, but can be changed much quicker and easier than a re-grip. We recommend the SquashGalaxy Black Overgrip or SquashGalaxy White Overgrip, but for those looking for the best sweat absorption, durability, and feel... the Overgrip/Re-grip gives the best combination. Note** when an overgrip is installed, you will not be able to see the re-grip if chose to have it installed.

We get follow up calls/emails everyday thanking us for the upgrades as they really help bring out the performance of the racquet.
