HEAD'S CXG Comfort Grid cushioning technology consists of a unique interlocking coil structure encapsulated within a resilient polyurethane form. The protective benefits of HEAD CXG technology guarantee fantastic shock absorption for less foot fatigue and more comfort in every step, the responsive benefits assure outstanding stability and motion control for better maneuverability.
The core of HEAD CXG is a combination of turned polyethylene, nylon and saran fibers which shape and form an interlocking coil structure. This is then encapsulated within a resilient polyurethane form. When the foot makes contact with the ground, the encapsulated coil fibers are compressed, absorbing shock. Then as the foot reaches the end of its stride, the comfort grid rebounds, producing an upward force, much like that of a resilient spring.
