Description of the Racquet

The Motion Sports Invictus Samurai squash racquet has been developed for an improved playing experience and with 'Green' in mind. The Racquet is brought to you in matt black and without any cosmetics thus reducing the use of oil based colors and subsequent damage to the environment unlike all other rackets on the market at the moment.

This state of the art racquet developed with the latest composite technology is built more specifically for the soft ball singles game with a pear shaped head. It possesses the stiffness to create ample power in your game and you can change the tension of your string to suite what style of player you are. Tension down at 24-27lbs for players who like to hit the ball softer with more feel and touch. Tension up at 28-30lbs for players who like to swing a little faster and cut the ball in to the corners, hitting harder and wanting a little more bite on the ball with the harder shots.

It's balance means that you will always feel that you have a good amount of weight in the head to get that weight of shot you are looking for but it's light enough to be very maneuverable, at speed, to allow you to keep up with the speed of the modern game.

The racquet head is deliberately thin, without compromising strength, so that you will be able to 'pick' the ball off the wall when it is tight - giving you the opportunity to hit the strings unlike when you use thicker framed racquets that make this impossible.

Developed by Chris Walker (Ex-World No.4 SIngles, World No.1 Doubles, a 4 x World Champion and currently the US Men's National Team Coach) there are 2 types of racquet to choose from, each with their own benefits. You will find the racquet uses the best available technology for strength, power, stiffness and balance to bring you a unique experience to your Squash when venturing on to the Squash court.

Our favorite Squash wrap grip is the Squash Galaxy Wrap Grip. We've been in the business a long time and always get requests on what our favorite wrap grip is for squash so we went out and made our own! The Squash Galaxy Wrap grip has a smooth and extremely tacky feel and is the appropriate length and size for any squash racquet on the market. It's only $8 to have it installed at the time of purchase.

The Tecnifibre 305 17g string upgrade is recommended because factory string is less playable/durable then the Tecnifibre 305 17g string we suggest. At the time of purchase, the Tecnifibre 305 17g restring upgrade is $21.95. It's normally $36 if you mailed the racquet to us later so you save $14 if you choose the upgrade right away. The tecnifibre will fray before it breaks and that's completely normal so don't worry about it!

If you choose a vibration dampener go with the Silencer (Our favorite), Head Smart Sorb, Head Megasorb, or the BBB (Big Bad Band).

A question we get everyday is "What is Grommet Tape?" It's a piece of tape that goes over the head (bumper) of your racquet. Sometimes you need a restring because of a broken bumper. For an extra buck to add this, it could save you $25-40!!

We recommend an overgrip for players that tend a sweat a lot, want to build up a grip, or wear through wrap grips very often. An overgrip is thinner and wears quicker than re-grips, but can be changed much quicker and easier than a re-grip. We recommend the Wilson Pro Overgrip, but for those looking for the best sweat absorption, durability, and feel... the Overgrip/ Re-grip gives the best combination. Note** when an overgrip is installed, you will not be able to see the re-grip if chose to have it installed.

We get follow up calls/emails everyday thanking us for the upgrades as they really help bring out the performance of the racquet.
